Lenzkirch, Germany, mahogany "Freischwinger", time and quarter strike. This model similar to the model 73 in the 1892 catalog, but this one with a different top bearing a sunburst. Serial #1,198,629 circa 1899.

Condition Report: clock case waxed and rubbed to a soft sheen, profusely decorated with cast brass bits, and with "cupid" pendulum cast from brass. NOTE the original top got damaged and someone has made this replacement from oak rather than mahogany, stained to match the rest of the case. If not for this we would have expected this clock to garner $3500. The well made movement strikes the quarters "bim-bam" style. Ht 41"

Using the desirable Angel -- winged cherub pendulum that is illustrated in "150 Jahre Lenzkircher Uhren", page 136. Serial Nr. 1,037,868, circa 1894.

Condition Report: our experience shows that or many models, only a number apart, the difference was a case without the brass trim and a case with the trim. You will find examples of this in today's catalog. The model 622 we refer to has all the brass trimmings, while this model we are selling never had them. Using a quality model 26, series 2 movement, with good Lenzkirch logo imprinted. Movement runs and strikes; porcelain dial is excellent. Ht 36 1/2"

The dial flanked by two female caryatids, brass castings with good detail. The well made count wheel striking movement with strong Lenzkirch logo and serial Nr. 866,286 circa 1889.

Condition Report: The oak case has been refinished to a dark English shade. All the bits of brass have been polished and lacquered.
