Condition Report: The oak case is in nice condition although the remaining finish is quite thin. The case is missing the twisted columns that should be to the right and left of the dial, one pair on the front edge of the case and the other at the back of the case. See Tran Duy Ly's Ansonia Clocks & Watches book, page 178 for an image that shows these columns. The top splat is probably replaced as there is no hole for the finial. The dial and weights are original. The hands are replaced. The pendulum bob is original and in very nice condition. The movement uses pull up chains for the weights. Ht 41".

Dey Time Register Co. eventually merged with International Time Recorder, also of Endicott, the forerunner of IBM. The case and parts retain its untouched original finish with some loss to paint on time punch wheel. The in and out wheel is missing its paper tabs. There has been an electric light installed inside the case. The original etched glass window with "Dey Register' is present and intact and the glass and bezel over the dial are absent. The original movement probably became available because the chain broke, now with gut which has likewise failed and will need replacing. Overall a well made clock that will restore nicely. Condition Report: The period dial with outer minute markings is incorrect for a pillar & scroll. The hour hand is original but the minute hand is a replacement. There is no label in the case and the weights are absent. The left scroll tip is broken (but in the case). The case top returns and three finials are missing. The feet are later replacements. The movement is a Seth Thomas, but its verge, strike hammer and its arbor are missing. The tablet is original and quite nice with only minor flaking. Ht 30".

Condition Report: inside the top wooden bezel and on the top of the hinged throat door is written "B. F. Wood, Winchester, N.H., 3/19/41". The rectangular brass movement is correct for the style. The throat glass is a poorly restored beehive motif, and the paper dial has the "EJS" (E. & J. Swigert, Cincinnati) supply-house logo. The case has an old finish, some damage and losses, and the lower round door is detached. The cast-brass top eagle finial is old and dark. No hands. Ht 36"

The large movement appears complete but was not tested, and no T crank is included. The stamping mechanism in the base functions properly. Condition Report: although you will want to find a dome, and clean off the accumulated dust, this clock is in exceptionally nice original condition, with much of the hand painted decorations on the iron base intact. The porcelain dial has one small and minor chip by the left winding arbor, and is otherwise excellent. Hands and cast pendulum are original,. Condition Report: Partly refinished mahogany veneered case with some repairs on the lower section. Painted wood dial looks original to the case and fits perfectly, but it is for a wood movement with an alarm and there is no evidence of a bell stand or a slot for the hammer in the top of the case. The movement currently in the case is a standard time and strike. Tablet is a nice repaint on period glass. The two small columns on each side of the mirror could be replacements as an extra set of gilt columns, now gold painted, are with the clock. The splat is missing. There is a set of chimney caps with pineapple finials. Key escutcheon is missing. There are no weights, hands or pendulum or label. Ht 34"
