Condition Report: the original patina on this ornate case has darkened but there is no damage, and the lovely painted panels are intact except for possible lines on the small bottom scene. The movement ticks and strikes on its bell but was not tested long term. The base has some losses to the gilding, and the silk is worn. Pendulum number matches the movement's. Ht on wood base is 18 1/2"

Condition Report: the brass is brightly polished and lacquered. One back foot is slightly bent. The dial is a newer restoration with applied numbers, and shows some discoloration. A small side lever triggers the strike repeat, and the alarm winds by pulling a string at the top. The clock ticks, strikes and rings its alarm but was not tested long term. Ht 9 1/2"

Condition Report: The heavy bell retains an old bright patina, and the brass dial with fancy numbers is signed "Damon" and "T & Co.". There is a new plywood base (not visible). The unusual movement ticks and strikes. While Tiffany often used imported movements in their clocks, this movement was made in the Tiffany clock shop in New York under the supervision of Joseph Lindauer. The patent referenced on the back plate was held by Lindauer for a simplified striking mechanism, which sadly does not correctly synchronize the Westminster chimes after the hour strikes, so the chimes often play the incorrect sequence at the various quarters. An empty small hole in the top handle may indicate that something, perhaps a hanger, is absent. Ht 12 1/2"

Condition Report: the cast metal is intact with no damage or losses, but the finish is somewhat worn. The porcelain chapter ring is good, and signed by the famous London retailer. The rotating pendulum ball has new paint. The white stone base appears to have been reassembled and some shiny glue joints can be seen. The movement has a "DL" Medaille Bronze stamp, strikes with count wheel and bell, and the impulse pin for the pendulum rotates but was not tested long term. Ht 16"

Condition Report: a nice tribute to the army from the first half of the 19th century, there is some wear to the gilding and other little corrosion spots that have found their way to the surface. Although the clock is now protected by a glass dome, it apparently stood for some time without a cover, and the silvered, engine-turned dial has gone to black. The well made bell strike movement bears the number 197, but no logo nor name to identify origin. Ht of clock = 14.5, Ht of dome = 17 1/2"

Condition Report: Ebonized veneer and marquetry case in very nice condition with just a very small piece of string veneer missing on the lower right corner. The top cap is a little warped. Original silvered dial is tarnished with the numbers intact. Original hands. Gilt bezel and capitals are in nice condition. Nice gilt pendulum with just a little loss on the shell. Base is included and based on the inlay is most likely the one sold originally with this clock. The base has a shrinkage and war page crack in the veneer. The glass dome is missing. Ht 18 1/2"
