Sextant- Boxed sextant by Henry Hughes & Sons of London. WWII-era English marine instrument with black finish in original finger-jointed box with brass hardware. Inside of box has framed "HUSUN" examination certificate dated 1942. Serial number 30121 is stamped on instrument and printed on examination certificate.

Nautical Instruments- 3 (Three) Marine Instruments: (1) Wallace & Tiernan, Belleville, NJ, "U.S. Coast Guard Marine Escapement clock", type MT-88 with 8 day time only spring driven movement balance wheel movement made by the Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass. in a cast metal case, dated 1946. Once every minute a cam associated with the second hand closes an electrical contact on the dial. This may have been used for signaling purposes; (2) Merrill, NY, 4 inch gimbaled marine compass in mahogany box; (3) Saura Marine Instruments Co., Japan, 2.5 inch hand bearing compass with viewing lens in wooden box.
