The two scrollwork decorative handles for the sides of the top urn finial are missing, but unfinished replacements are included. Nearly complete label on the back. Very nice glass front pendulum. The movement ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term.

Condition Report: This heavy copy of the Congreve clock has a large fusee, the timekeeping governed by a steel ball rolling on a grooved table, releasing a latch at the end of its travel, allowing the train to advance while the table tilts to the opposite side end and the ball re-traces its original path in the other direction. The time is indicated on three elevated dials, minutes in the center, hours to the left and seconds to the right. The condition is very good but we have not tested its operation. Note there is no dust cover.

Enamel dial is excellent. Floral stencil is still colorful. Sold "as is". This clock is very similar to the one shown in J. Miller's book, No. 4 on page 36.

The painted metal dial has what looks to be a smoky stain on the outer edge and couple small stains. The stamped logo on the movement has been ground out, but it looks to have been made by Kilbourn & Proctor. The clock has a stamped E. O. Stennes lead weight, from another clock. No numbers or dates on case. The signed "Daniel Munroe, Boston" dial is wrong as it conflicts with throat glass that has the location correct.

Condition Report: the case has a nice original finish with a few minor dings. Brass is showing through in several place on the silvered dial. The convex beveled glass is fine. Fusees with new nylon cord. Robust square movement with the W&H trademark chimes the quarter hours on coil gongs. Movement ticks and chimes, but was not tested long term. W & H had perfected a two train movement that could provide chimes on the quarter hours.
