Condition Report: shaft to crank that adjusts the depth of cut is bent and prohibits the crank from making a full revolution. There are a few very small scratches on the inner portion of index plate where the latch was not raised adequately before turning. The tool has a nice patina and is well made.

Clement, Waltham, Mass., watchmaker's lathe with pivoting headstock, 50mm center height with 12 inch bed, accepting 10mm collets, with many desirable accessories including a Clement jewelling tailstock and flip-over tool rest, a countershaft, shop-made pivot polisher, wire chucks, step chucks, laps, cutters, slitting saw arbor, and rare miniature capstan turret. Also included are 8mm lathe accessories including a 3-jaw chuck and two faceplate chucks.

Condition Report: tool and accessories are dirty and dusty. The lathe retains its nickel plating. The plating is starting to lift from the tailstock. Some oxidation on the 10mm collets and countershaft. The tailstock appears to be complete, though some of the small accessories for it may be missing. Headstock spindle turns freely. Index wheel mounted to pulley will need to be glued into position.
